Gleeson College Curriculum Guide 2026 - Middle Years | 24 Year 9 Curriculum In Year 9, students continue to study the core curriculum of Faith & Living, English, Mathematics, Humanities, and Science. Greater flexibility is given to choose elective subjects to reflect student aspirations and interests, from a broad range of learning areas, listed below. Students are invited to choose one Health & Physical Education option, and four semesters of electives from any other learning area. While most elective subjects are one semester in length, language subjects are a full year in length. Subjects marked with an asterisk (*) attract an additional fee.
